You are
- An analytical problem-solver with a self-starter attitude.
- Eager to stay updated with advancements in AI and LLM technologies.
- Able to work independently.
We are looking for a hands-on data scientist with 1-3 years of experience to fine-tune large language models (LLMs) and develop agent-based workflows. You will work on building cutting-edge AI solutions that can scale to production environments.

Tasks
- Fine-tune and optimize pre-trained LLMs (e.g., GPT, LLaMA) for business-specific use cases.
- Develop agent workflows to enable intelligent automation and decision-making.
- Prepare and manage datasets for model training and fine-tuning.
- Monitor, evaluate, and improve model performance continuously.
- Document methodologies to ensure reproducibility and knowledge sharing.
- Bringing AI-based applications into production.
Preferred Qualifications
We expect you to bring
- Proficiency in Python and ML libraries (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face).
- Experience fine-tuning LLMs using techniques like LoRA, RLHF, or adapters.
- Strong understanding of NLP concepts and transformer architectures.
- Ability to design workflows integrating APIs and pipelines.
- Familiarity with version control (Git) and basic cloud/MLOps tools (e.g., Docker, MLFlow).
- Comfort with writing, documenting and using APIs.
- Fluency in English and German (mandatory).
- A Swiss/EU passport, valid EU/EFTA work permit, or Swiss residence permit (C permit).
You really stand out when you have:
- Experience with generative AI applications and deploying models in production.
- Knowledge of LangChain or similar frameworks.
- Familiarity with linear algebra, graph theory and combinatorial optimization.
