Dmitry Abanin
Dmitry Abanin’s research lies at the intersection of quantum information, quantum simulation, and many-body physics. His group studies fundamentals of non-equilibrium many-body dynamics, including mechanisms of thermalisation and its breakdown, develops tensor-networks methods to efficiently simulate quantum dynamics classically, and works with experimental groups to observe them in quantum simulation platforms such as superconducting quantum processors and ultracold atoms.
Currently, Dmitry is a professor of physics at the University of Geneva and a scientist at Google Quantum AI.
