Hauke Harms

Dr. Hauke Harms serves as a Trade Commissioner at the Embassy of Canada to Switzerland & Liechtenstein, based in Bern. In his role with the commercial section, he supports export promotion to Switzerland, encourages foreign direct investment into Canada, and promotes bilateral collaboration on science & innovation – including quantum.

Prior to his tenure at the Embassy, Hauke dedicated two years to business development in the solar cell industry. Hauke holds a PhD in physical chemistry from EPFL Lausanne, and a master’s in physics from the university of Constance, Germany.
