John Morton
Prof. John Morton research centers around manipulating the spins of electrons and nuclei in nano-scale materials and devices, with the goal of advancing quantum technologies. He serves as the Director of the UCL Quantum Science and Technology Institute at University College London (UCL).
Professor Morton holds a D.Phil (PhD) in Materials Science from the University of Oxford (2002-2005).
After Oxford he provides independent solutions across the full breadth of quantum technology sectors on how to resolve critical quantum information and technology challenges, as well as exploit their opportunities as consultant at Q&I.
He founded and co-founded two startups: "Quantum Motion Technologies" and "Phasecraft".
